Course 11 – Parenting Through Separation Raising Healthy Children Across Two Homes

Separation changes the family structure, but it does not change the importance of parenting.

Children often experience separation differently depending on their age, personality, relationship with each parent and the level of conflict they are exposed to.

This course I created to help parents understand:

• How separation affects children emotionally.
• How to recognise signs your child may be struggling.
• How to create stability and healthy boundaries.
• How to parent without involving children in adult conflict.
• How to rebuild connection after difficult family changes.
• How fathers and mothers may experience different challenges with sons and daughters at different stages of development.

The goal is not to create perfect parents.

The goal is to create emotionally safe parents that grow emotionally resilient children.

I care for each and every one of you, I am also a mother, step-mother and grandmother.  I have divorced and raised my children to be respectful, emotionally resilient adults.

I believe we all deserve to live in healthy, happy relationships.
