Course 18 – Raising Healthy Children – Building Respectful, Resilient and Emotionally Healthy Children From Birth to Adulthood
About Course
Parenting is one of the most rewarding—and challenging—roles we will ever have.
Children are not born with instruction manuals, and every stage of development brings new questions, new challenges and new opportunities to guide them toward becoming capable, kind and emotionally healthy adults.
This course is designed for parents, grandparents, carers and blended families raising children from birth through to adulthood.
Rather than focusing only on behaviour management, this course teaches how to build strong family relationships while raising children who are:
- Emotionally secure.
- Respectful.
- Responsible.
- Honest.
- Resilient.
- Compassionate.
- Independent.
- Confident.
- Accountable.
- Prepared for adult life.
The course also recognises that families come in many forms.
Whether you are:
- Parenting together.
- Parenting alone.
- Co-parenting after separation.
- Raising children in a blended family.
- Sharing parenting across multiple households.
I provide practical tools that place the child’s wellbeing at the centre of every decision.
Throughout the course, I hope you will discover how to parent from love rather than guilt, create healthy family boundaries, teach responsibility, strengthen communication and help children safely navigate today’s increasingly complex world.
You will also learn to recognise early warning signs of emotional distress, behavioural difficulties and unhealthy influences so that support can be provided before problems become more serious.
Course 18 Philosophy
Children do not need perfect parents.
They need parents who provide:
- Love.
- Safety.
- Stability.
- Consistency.
- Boundaries.
- Encouragement.
- Accountability.
Children may not always enjoy boundaries.
But boundaries help children feel safe.
Rules provide security.
Consistency builds trust.
Love teaches belonging.
Responsibility prepares children for adulthood.
The goal of parenting is not raising happy children every moment.
The goal is raising emotionally healthy adults.
I believe we all deserve to live in healthy, happy relationships.
